Most Popular Courchevel Ski Pass

The most-popular lift passes are the 6-day ski passes. Most skiers choose between:

6 Day Courchevel Lift Pass

This offers 6 consecutive full days skiing in the Courchevel ski area which covers 150kms of pistes with something for all abilities. You can read a full review of the Courchevel ski area here.

6 Day 3 Valleys Lift Pass

The 3 Valleys lift pass offers access to the Courchevel ski area plus the rest of the 600kms of skiing in the 3 Valleys. You can seamlessly ski this ski area including resorts such as Meribel and Val Thorens. For keen skiers, this is a must-have lift pass offering access to all areas of the world’s largest ski area.


Where to buy a lift pass in Courchevel?

You can buy your lift passes from a number of places including pre-ordering online.

Lift ticket offices are also located in all of the villages. So wherever you are staying in Courchevel you can buy a lift pass in person. Some tour operators and accommodation providers will even be able to supply your lift pass so you’re ready to go on your first morning.

Be aware that queues for lift passes can be long during weekends and Monday mornings as skiers all rush to the slopes.


Discounts, Beginners and Free Ski Lifts

There are a few discounts to be found on lift pass prices during the season. Prices are reduced during early December and late April.

This is low season for Courchevel and usually the ski area is reduced with fewer lifts and pistes open.

Free ski passes are available to anybody under 5 years old and over 75 years old.


Beginner Ski Passes

Beginner ski passes allow access to nursery slopes and reduced area of the mountain. The Courchevel Mini-Pass is perfect for those learning their first turns and won’t be straying too far from the beginner slopes. The Courchevel Mini-Pass offers access to more than 25 lifts: 

Courchevel 1850: Jardin Alpin & Verdons Gondola, *Bellecote, *Cospillot, Etoiles, Ferme, Altiport, Sources and Rocher de l’Ombre Drags plus the *Magic Carpets near Biollay.

Courchevel Moriond 1650: Ariondaz and *Petit Moriond Gondolas, Belvedere, Granges, Petite Boss and *Mickey Drags.

Courchevel Village 1550: Grangettes Gondola, Tovets Chair and *Roys Drag.

Le Praz: Praz Gondola and Epicea Drag.

Ski Insurance with your ski pass – Carré Neige

Carré Neige is a helpful insurance add-on to your lift pass and highly recommended. For €3.70 per day or around €50 per season, you can add ski insurance when buying your lift pass.

The Carré Neige ski insurance gives you free (no questions asked) mountain recovery if you hurt yourself plus emergency medical cover. As the policy is attached directly to your lift pass, if you need emergency help mountain rescue team will come to your aid with no questions of insurance or payment.


Courchevel Pedestrian Lift Pass

So you’re not skiing but still want to explore the mountains on foot?

Then get yourself a pedestrian pass allowing you to use the lifts without skiing.

With a non-skier lift pass, you can travel between the 5 villages of Courchevel or float all the way to the summit to take in the breathtaking vistas. The Summit of Saulire is one unmissable Courchevel experience as you breathe in the cold high altitude air at over 2700 meters. Relax and sip a hot chocolate at the Panoramique cafe before walking the snowy slopes. The perfect way to enjoy a true mountain lifestyle.

3 Valleys Liberty Pass

The 3 Valleys Liberty Pass is a pay as you go lift pass for those who live locally or visit Courchevel regularly without skiing every day. The pass offers complete access to the ski area plus you can enjoy a number of offers and special discounts:

  • 10% off on the daily public rate Adult 3 Valleys,
  • 3 Valleys special Saturday offer: 20% off on the daily public rate Adult 3 Valleys pass,
  • 9th ski day Free and then 1 free ski day every 6 days!

The Liberty Pass is generally suited to those who visit Courchevel regularly but will ski less the 20 days each season. If you’re planning on skiing more than 20 days this winter in The 3 Valleys then you should consider a Season Pass.


Courchevel Season Pass
